Exterra

The Exterra™ Termite Interception and Baiting System is a systematic, multi-step termite management method which is placed strategically around the building to form a defensive perimeter against termites. Unlike the traditional methods Exterra system does not kill termites by using chemicals; instead it uses innovative and non-toxic bait, contributing to environmental protection because of the natural materials used.

The system identifies food sources (wood), diverting them into Exterra’s trap before they even get a chance to reach the building. Exterra In-ground Stations containing non-toxic timber interceptors are embedded in the soil at approximately every 5 metres around the perimeter of your property.

The system emits low levels of CO2, stimulating CO2 produced by rotting wood, which helps to attract termites. When termites take bait and flock to the Exterra unit, a substance called Requiem – a fatal alternative food source – is then placed inside. Once termites have consumed Requiem, they develop an addiction to the substance and will prefer it over any type of wood. This two-pronged attack is what absolutely annihilates termites and keeps your property safe. If termites have already invaded your house, an adaptable version of Exterra can be deployed which is called AGS (Above-Ground Stations), which is a perfect ambush weapon.

This process is a sustainable method for Termite Interception Zones around your house as it ensures that termites are attracted into Exterra units. These units are checked by our trained technician at regular intervals of eight weeks
